19. Nicknames you have; why do you have them


Everyone has their own personal nicknames, so here are some of mine!

❥ Lingling
⇨This nickname was born because my cousins could not pronounce my second name, Pauline. They could only pronounce 'Ling', which is supposed to be the 'Line' of Pauline. In the end, it stuck and everyone in the neighborhood calls me this. My aunties, uncles, grandmas, grandpas, and ALL THEIR coworkers call me Ling. It's shocking when my mom brings home some of her coworkers, and they all start calling me Lingling. My neighbors, my childhood friends call me this. I am not comfortable is someone new calls me by this name. I would be like 'What the heck is wrong with you?'
❥ Pauline/Pauling
⇨For my classmates in elementary, I was always called Pauline. They called me Pauline because everyone kept mispronouncing 'Frances' with Francis. It's irritating, and I kept on complaining until everyone decided on Pauline. In freshman year, the boys kept on calling me Pauline because they, too, had a hard time pronouncing Frances. Seriously. Just replace the I with an E. Eventually, everyone grew tired of Pauline. Only Kimberly calls me Pauling now, and some of my old old old old elementary friends. It doesn't bother me for some strange reason. BUT IF SOMEONE SERIOUSLY CALLS ME THAT, I will take a longer time to acknowledge you.

❥ Frances/ Fran/Fwan/Frany/Franny/Franeh and etc.
⇨I wasn't called this until I was in G 6. Everyone I knew before always called me Pauline, so when everyone started calling me, Frances, I was freaked out. I gradually got used to it, and it's now the nickname I commonly introduce myself to strangers. There are many variations of Frances. I was first dubbed Frany by Viel in G 6 when we all decided to have nicknames ending in -Y. Cathy, Frany, Vielly, Peggy and etc. Everything just followed once everyone grew comfortable with Fran.
❥ Bebeh
⇨A nickname, or rather a term of endearment, that only my closest friends call me. If I don't think you're a good friend, I will immediately stop you from calling me this.
❥ Madam/Maam/Lang.ga/Best/Love and a few more embarrassing ones.
⇨Fido's attempts to give a nickname that only he could use.

I am not into boxing. Er. Well, maybe I am a little. I just like it when they are really beating each other into a pulp part. It gives me adrenaline, and I can't help but punch the air along. Last post for the night

11. Another picture of you and your friends I will skip post 11 because it's basically the same with the previous post ( making up lost time ). I don't have any other pictures and I don't feel like uploading the older ones. 12 . How you found out about Blogger and why you made one So, I found out about blogger from my friend Penda . She kept talking about blog posts, and I couldn't quite understand what she was talking about. In the end, I checked her blog after a few more conversations about the blog. @ Doshia's 17th Birthday Love doesn’t need to be perfect, it just needs to be true. Okay. That might not be the best picture for us, but I recently realized that we don't have many pictures together. It might be because I don't like having my picture taken, and he doesn't too. I guess it's something we can agree on. Now, fourty-two months is quite a long time for any couple in a relationship. If I recall, I was just about fifteen then. He was about sixteen or so. We were young, just two kids in love who didn't know how demanding a committed relationship was.
