Marry you ~

Image
20. Someone you see yourself marrying/being with in the future Practice smiling. Got it. Needless to say, I see myself being with Fido in the future. We've managed to go this long, so we can't possibly give up this journey so easily. I guess it would be nice to marry him, but that isn't much of a priority right now so I wouldn't dwell on that fact much. It's just funny though how he tries to persuade me to marry him before I turn thirty. Am I seriously going to be that OLD AND WRINKLY? >.> He tried to bargain, and I gradually agreed to 'marry' at twenty six. Seems to be fair enough. I don't really know what else to say. I guess he's a good guy. Sure we had our differences and bitter fights, but we managed to cross the bridge. In the future, I'm sure we can cross more bridges if we just talk it out and hear each other. For me, what we have at the moment is enough. He makes me laugh, kisses me on the forehead, says he's ...

Moods and Songs

10. Songs you listen to when you are Happy, Sad, Bored, Hyped, Mad Despite the fact that I am a mood-swings type of person, I still have songs that I play in specific moods. Since this challenge specifies HAPPY, SAD, BORED, HYPED, and MAD, I shall post the first songs that pop into my mind. If you don't know the song, just click on the MOOD beside the song and artist. happy : mine - taylor swift I don’t know why but I can’t help but get carried away by the song's happy tune. It makes me feel all giddy inside. The words just play with my imagination. The whole scenario if sitting by the water, and love love love. Not to mention the fact that the music video gives off a very vibrant aura. Who wouldn't listen to this when they're happy? sad :   lego house - ed sheeran I just discovered this song lately. I happened to listen to it when I was actually feeling a little sad about something I can no longer remember. It’s very nice, and that's an unders...

Thursday Madness (Picture Post)

Image
the GRAND OPENING of THURSDAY MADNESS Last Thursday, we had the first of our many Thursday Madness. First stop was Greenwich, Limketkai Center. The chosen specialty dish was Ultimate Hawaiian Overload! Fido wanted the 12'' one, so I kinda went along with it even if I kinda wanted the one with chicken. Hm. There is something wrong with me and chickens lately. We had that and a pitcher of cold ice tea. I'm sure the cashier was shocked that it would only be the two of us dining. Here is the boy after ordering the pizza. As you can see, he's a little bit too excited for it. AHA! The 12'' pizza arrives, and I gotta admit that I thought it would be bigger. With the pizza comes the iced tea ! This is how a slice of overload looks like. It looks yummier in person, but the camera doesn't want to capture its cheesy essence. It looks very dry here. Fido just finished putting our first slice. Being the innate gentleman that he is, he pu...

The Food Chronicles

Image
For those who don't know this, being in a long term relationship entails at some point you run out of new things to do together. Watching movies together, taking walks together, going home together, playing computer games together. . It starts to get normal after, I dont know. . Four years maybe? All that lovey dovey stuff is not going to be enough to keep young hearts entertained. Anyways, it's hard to look for a hobby as a couple. We, at some desperate point, even tried making a notebook, like a GATB notebook. Not once, but twice! We even tried to make letters for each other, which I admit is pretty gay. We also tried having MMK dates, via texting. Lame, lame, lame. Every fun hobby seems to be only good for one. So one afternoon and a pizza, we cooked up a delicious idea! Haha. Cooked up. We decided to have food marathons (ADVENTURES OF FOOD BOY & GIRL), as we ate a slice of pizza from a Greenwich take-out stand. Actually, we just wanted to buy one whole pizza ...

Making up lost time!

3. A picture of you and your friends I'll start with the newly made friends, down to the friends I've had the longest. I'll just name them in groups, so that it wouldn't be too troublesome. First off, my Chemistry buddies, or the 'Chemers', as they call us few aspiring chemists. Here is the latest adventure I've had with them study bugs. Community Building From the left is Hannah (purple shirt), Nouvelle (short hair), Jerlyn (darker purple shirt), Jedil (one beside me with long hair), Kimberly (wearing the head band), Camille (covered partially by Kim), and Karylle (tied hair) These are the ladies of the Chemistry Sophomores. The men (Joshua and Marjiam) could not join us, so whatever. It's their loss, and it was sort of lonely without them. Mapawa was such a great place to unwind and bond with the whole community. I should probably talk about that event more in a different post. These people are one of the sweetest, most sensitive and dea...

Just another day (picture post)

Image
Last Wednesday, I only had PE Class the whole day. 9:00-12:00 in the morning. Sure, it isn't early but. . I was still late. I was so late (around ten already!), so our teacher didn't allow me to join in anymore. It's a good thing that they were only practicing, and that there was no practical exam. BLARGH. Sports are definitely not my thing.( ̄ー ̄)Anyways, I GM-ed, asking people if they were free. As per usual, Fido replied first, then Angel after a few more hours. . and then no one else. Wasn't shocking for Penda not to reply, seeing that a Nursing student's schedule is incredibly mind blowing. In Lorry's case, I got used to her not replying at all. In the end, I had a lunch date with Fido at KFC, since it was the closest place to Domain. ♪ヽ( ⌒o⌒)人(⌒-⌒ ) ♪ La la la ~ We had chicken, and made it swim in deliciously thick gravy. Ahh . Yum yum gravy (︶▽︶) ~ We stayed there for about an hour, while we waited for Angel to join us. Jhio came to join us for a whil...

Fourty-two

Image
@ Doshia's 17th Birthday Love doesn’t need to be perfect, it just needs to be true. Okay. That might not be the best picture for us, but I recently realized that we don't have many pictures together. It might be because I don't like having my picture taken, and he doesn't too. I guess it's something we can agree on. Now, fourty-two months is quite a long time for any couple in a relationship. If I recall, I was just about fifteen then. He was about sixteen or so. We were young, just two kids in love who didn't know how demanding a committed relationship was. We didn't care then, so we had to learn the hard way. In those years we've been together, there were too many ups and downs in our relationships. The rush of reality was so overwhelming. Lies, insecurities, jealousy and even the point of obsession were thrown at us far too many times. It seemed like an endless battle, but I knew deep down. . It was all going to be fine. I just hadn't re...
