Back to December

December must be one of my favorite months of the year. It's cold, which means more hot choco in the morning. Mm. I like hot choco, and warm hugs. The title doesn't really say much about this post, but I really like the song. I like it's gloomy, love-lost atmosphere.

Anyways, I decided to make a post that isn't a challenge post. Everyone's posting a bit of themselves and their every day life so I guess it's time that I update you all as well.

It's December 8, but I'll start my story in the beginning, December 1.

December 1 was the last day of Xavier Days. I didn't attend because I was being the lazy bum that I am. I was supposed to be at our organization's exhibit and meet with the high school buddies. I felt partly guilty, but I don't think people would hate me just because of that. Anyways, I had to attend a birthday in the evening. In the day though, I just downloaded fun movies including Bokura Ga Ita. Hm. To summarize the birthday party I just need one word: Horrible. It didn't start horribly, but it ended that way. Picture me, and a group of people (ahem FAMILY) and hearing those group of people practically FRONT stab me. Before I take more hits from their verbal abuse, I walk out. It's annoying to hear comments from self-righteous people.

December 2 was when everyone started panicking about the up coming Supertyphoon. I'm not the prepare for the worst type, so I just did what I usually do on Sundays, worship and rest. That's pretty much what happened there.

December 3, we had no class. Actually, I no longer remember what I did that day. I can't really say much. I guess I was unli, so I just ended up texting the day. I kinda did house chores, and watched movies. I pretty much wasted the whole day doing unproductive things. Apparently, that's my specialty.

December 4, I woke up pretty early. The rain was hard, and the air was cold. I had to turn off the conditioner and join my family watch the news. After a few minutes, I fell back asleep. When I woke up, it was near lunch time and everyone was asleep. Lunchtime was when Pablo really got grooving. I could practically hear the wind groaning and moaning like a banshee outside. The roof of our neighbor was flying. It was scary, and funny (because it was flying) all at the same time. The coconut trees outside were dancing-- break dancing. They looked like they were about to be uprooted. The lamp post outside was leaning towards our house. OH! And our gates opened. I had to go out and lock them tighter with a thick cord. It was a terrifying kind of fun. Anyways, the scary part didn't last long. The aftermath was nothing more but a black out, and no network connections. Everything was brighter by two in the afternoon.

December 5, Xavier didn't hold classes because of Pablo. They had a relief operation organized, so classes had to be further suspended. I spent the day with my cousins at my cousins (just steps away---the only house who had electricity). I charged up my phone so that I could receive messages from everyone. There was only little signal, and it was enough to send and retrieve important messages. I was about to go home when Fido thought my messages asking if he was free were urgent. He came all the way down from the mountains, and down to our side of town. Being an easily pleased person, I was touched. I was smiling when I fell asleep after spending the rest of the afternoon with him at the town park (it was untouched by the storm!). Oh. We still didn't have electricity back at our place by that time.

December 6. BORING. And ELECTRICITY AT LAST! We just had class, and a major exam for Chemistry. Oh wait. Fido and I had another Thursday Madness at Chowking that time. I actually made him wait for four hours, which I sort of did feel guilty about for a bit. I probably should post about that, but I'll just wait a few more days because I'm feeling lazy. I went home and. . HAPPY TEACHER'S DAY!

December 7. BORING. We had another day full of classes, and there is not much to say. Math was boring since I kind of know the lesson already. Philosophy was mind breaking as usual. Political Science is . . the same, being annoying with their laws and definitions. Physics was physics. I guess I never liked Physics. My ROTC buddies went with me to buy toys for the children. ROTC officers had this program, to celebrate their Christmas in the mountains with the children who NEVER had Christmas.

December 8 is TODAY. I supposedly had to attend ROTC the whole morning, but in the end, we just had a checking of attendance. They made us stand in the bright and harsh sun, because some of the officers liked pretty girls begging them to let them go to somewhere with shade. I gave away the toys we bought yesterday. So, I went to stay with my grandmother the rest of the day. I went home in the evening, and here I am now. Oh! Vielly invited us to her debut, and I'm ecstatic for that!

I hope you enjoyed my pretty much average week!
