The Food Chronicles

Image
For those who don't know this, being in a long term relationship entails at some point you run out of new things to do together. Watching movies together, taking walks together, going home together, playing computer games together. . It starts to get normal after, I dont know. . Four years maybe? All that lovey dovey stuff is not going to be enough to keep young hearts entertained. Anyways, it's hard to look for a hobby as a couple. We, at some desperate point, even tried making a notebook, like a GATB notebook. Not once, but twice! We even tried to make letters for each other, which I admit is pretty gay. We also tried having MMK dates, via texting. Lame, lame, lame. Every fun hobby seems to be only good for one. So one afternoon and a pizza, we cooked up a delicious idea! Haha. Cooked up. We decided to have food marathons (ADVENTURES OF FOOD BOY & GIRL), as we ate a slice of pizza from a Greenwich take-out stand. Actually, we just wanted to buy one whole pizza ...

Just another bad habit.

4. A habit that you wish you didn't have Procrastinating. I guess that's my bad habit. It can be a good thing because we all need time to gather our thoughts, and have a clear mind. Sometimes, it's just an excuse to avoid doing the important stuff. Sadly, I have the negative kind of procrastination. I over procrastinate, and waste time doing all the useless stuff I shouldn't prioritize. I always think that I can do them all tomorrow/later, but in the end I still don't do it. It's the most common phrase people say.  Sometimes I say I can't concentrate/can't do it good at the moment. But, then seriously! No one can do anything perfectly. Haha. Somehow, I always come up with ranging from good to vague excuses to convince myself. . to not do anything. I seriously need to get over this bad habit soon, and get my butt up and moving. It's annoying because procrastinating becomes easy for me, and that would become a harder habit to break. ...

Making up lost time!

3. A picture of you and your friends I'll start with the newly made friends, down to the friends I've had the longest. I'll just name them in groups, so that it wouldn't be too troublesome. First off, my Chemistry buddies, or the 'Chemers', as they call us few aspiring chemists. Here is the latest adventure I've had with them study bugs. Community Building From the left is Hannah (purple shirt), Nouvelle (short hair), Jerlyn (darker purple shirt), Jedil (one beside me with long hair), Kimberly (wearing the head band), Camille (covered partially by Kim), and Karylle (tied hair) These are the ladies of the Chemistry Sophomores. The men (Joshua and Marjiam) could not join us, so whatever. It's their loss, and it was sort of lonely without them. Mapawa was such a great place to unwind and bond with the whole community. I should probably talk about that event more in a different post. These people are one of the sweetest, most sensitive and dea...

I'm on a roll!

2 . The meaning behind your Blogger name My name, or rather nickname, is fwan/fran. The w and r depends on the person, whether they enjoy sounding even more childish or they just want to cut short my name. Ugh. I'm not good with this explaining thing. I can only hope that you understand the babble. Now, we all know that I love all things adorable like this owl for example: Okay. This was just random. If I present this in a mathematical equation, it would have to look something like this: FWA (-N) + (-A) DORABLE = FWADORABLE. It would be hard to make it like chemical reaction, but I guess it would be a reversible reaction. I'm sure you all know what a reversible reaction means by now. Haha. I'm confusing myself with another set of random babble. I should probably stop now. Anyways, the extra fran is just my attempt to make my blog title longer. It just looks so plain with a simple fwadorable. This concludes the conception of fwadorable fwan . ...

Finally at NUMBER 1!

1. A recent picture of your self and 15 interesting facts about you  ♀ On my way to Mapawa Nature Park with the Chemistry Community ❥ I like to contradict myself, and constantly challenge my own decisions and beliefs. Why? Because you get to discover yourself in a different point of view. And also because our Philosophy teacher says its nice to doubt yourself, and only be sure that you're doubting. ❥ Speaking of weight, I try so hard to gain weight. Although many people get annoyed with this, but I truly do want to gain weight. It's annoying when people don't believe me when I say this. I'm not trying to fish compliments about my skinny body. ❥ I love to daydream about random prince charmings that sweep me off my feet with grand gestures of affection. I had a dream about this one charming that proposed VIA billboard sign on Valentine's Day. Talk about exaggerated. ❥ I imagine myself singing a duet in songs with male singers. It's fun, and you sho...

A new challenge!

Image
Since I'm a newbie, I just found this challenge. Or more like, searched it because I was incredibly bored. It's supposed to be a 30 DAY CHALLENGE, but that's highly impossible for any Chemistry sophomore. (; ̄Д ̄) Actually, I should probably spend less time on the Internet now that the second semester is starting. UGH. Second semesters are the worst. Anyways, I decided to make it a 30 POST CHALLENGE ABOUT MEE . ヾ(*⌒ヮ⌒*)ゞ YAY! Before I get ahead of myself, here's the list! START: ♥ post 01- A recent picture of you and 15 interesting facts about yourself ♥ post 02- The meaning behind your Blogger name ♥ post 03- A picture of you and your friends ♥ post 04- A habit that you wish you didn’t have ♥ post 05- A picture of somewhere you’ve been to ♥ post 06- Favorite super hero and why ♥ post 07- A picture of someone/something that has the biggest impact on you ♥ post 08- Short term goals for this month and why ♥ post 09- Something you’re proud of...

Just another day (picture post)

Image
Last Wednesday, I only had PE Class the whole day. 9:00-12:00 in the morning. Sure, it isn't early but. . I was still late. I was so late (around ten already!), so our teacher didn't allow me to join in anymore. It's a good thing that they were only practicing, and that there was no practical exam. BLARGH. Sports are definitely not my thing.( ̄ー ̄)Anyways, I GM-ed, asking people if they were free. As per usual, Fido replied first, then Angel after a few more hours. . and then no one else. Wasn't shocking for Penda not to reply, seeing that a Nursing student's schedule is incredibly mind blowing. In Lorry's case, I got used to her not replying at all. In the end, I had a lunch date with Fido at KFC, since it was the closest place to Domain. ♪ヽ( ⌒o⌒)人(⌒-⌒ ) ♪ La la la ~ We had chicken, and made it swim in deliciously thick gravy. Ahh . Yum yum gravy (︶▽︶) ~ We stayed there for about an hour, while we waited for Angel to join us. Jhio came to join us for a whil...

Insomnia and it's perks

Image
I've never had insomnia before. Usually, I get knocked out the moment I get on my bed. Or, maybe it's not insomnia. Maybe I'm just having a hard time trying to sleep. Either way. . I'm bored. So for the mean time, I shall type just about all the random things going on my mind. First is. . I want pretty layouts. Somebody make me a pretty layout, and I will love you forever! I dislike my layout, because I liked the previous one with clouds and calendars. The problem with the previous layouts is that people can't comment. I don't know ANYTHING about codes and all those techy words, so I would be utterly lost if I even tried. Believe me, I would've tried if I knew where to start. Tutorials aren't helping, because it's too outdated. It's very annoying, thus I had to sacrifice it's prettiness. /WEEP Second is. . Tomorrow is my grandmother's 70th birthday! Hooray! I am so excited, because I don't have any plans for tomorrow. I bet ...

RED ALERT.

Basically the post above summarizes everything I could think of that sucks about having periods. I just couldn't resist making a post. I feel like exploding if I freaking don't do this. I don't think I can type much without having to slam my keyboard, so I'll stick with pictures to describe what I'm going through at the moment. Cue music: Bleeding Love.   I keep bleeding, I keep keep bleeding love I keep bleeding, I keep keep bleeding love And that above perfectly shows what I usually do to try and numb the pain. Cue groaning and moaning from pain. Cue mom who looks at you like you're going crazy. Not to mention the fact that girls sometimes have the flag of Japan on our butt. Everything just seems to be 100x more annoying. They're all out to annoy me. Ugh. Just this: Imagine getting kicked by thousands of mini ninjas then stabbed a thousand more in your stomach. Imagine that five days a month, boys. IMAGINE THAT. Well, that's the wo...

REVIEW 101: Anime Review

Image
HAKUOUKI A hot guy with silky long hair? Interesting. A group of hot guys all with silky long hair? Definitely something! I was never a fan of traditional anime. To be honest, it's the first traditional anime I've seen since Samurai X. Sure, I'm not familiar with all their beliefs but I get the point of the 'fighting by the sword' life. History class tackled a bit of their shogunate, harakiri, and kamikaze and etc. But, SERIOUSLY? This anime just painted itself lame. D: Their synopsis was very promising! A girl, who's originally looking for her doctor of a father, gets her butt dragged into a group of samurais. They were samurais who were also looking for her father! I forgot to mention: THEY WERE HOT SAMURAIS. A bit of a twist is that the story has 'ONI' or demons, TOO. Isn't that EXCITING? Sexy looking samurais, and demons too? NOT AT ALL. It's a complete mess. Blah, blah. Girl -> Samurai -> Demon. It's not the typical kin...
